Jason Gupton
Growing up in a sleepy little town, Jason was the kid who couldn’t sit still. First, it was skateboards and BMX bikes—endless scraped knees, busted sneakers, and a grin that never faded. Small towns, man, they don’t offer much, but if you can make your own fun, you’re golden. As he got older, Jason’s curiosity just ballooned. Suddenly, he’s diving headfirst into gymnastics (because apparently flipping off stuff is a lifestyle), then he’s getting into freerunning, stilt walking—yeah, actual stilts—plus picking up the unicycle. Not your average Tuesday hobbies, right?
And while other kids were learning to parallel park, Jason went all in with Rick Seamans’ driving course. Because why not toss some high-speed car control into the mix? When it came to pushing limits, the guy didn’t know when to pump the brakes.
Oh, and that competitive streak? It’s not just for show. Jason went toe-to-toe with the country’s best as a three-year American Ninja Warrior veteran. Those crazy obstacle courses you see on TV? He lived them. Sweat, blisters, the whole nine yards.
Lately, he’s been giving back to the next generation of daredevils, opening up a parkour and freerunning gym right in Rocky Mount, NC. It’s the kind of place you wish you’d had growing up—trampolines, walls to scale, soft mats for hard landings. Basically, a playground for people who see the world as one big obstacle course. Jason’s story? It’s all about chasing adrenaline, breaking boundaries, and dragging a bunch of folks along for the wild ride.
