Jeff Habberstad’s been tearing it up in the film industry for more than three decades, and honestly, the guy’s got one heck of a résumé. He kicked things off as a stuntman, flying through the air and pulling off stunts that’d make your palms sweat just watching. He even snagged one of those early “Best Aerial Stunt” awards, which is wild when you think about how niche that is. Fast forward a bit, and he’s racked up four Emmy nominations, and yeah, he actually took one home for a killer action sequence he directed on “Alias.” Not too shabby. Before all this Hollywood madness, Jeff actually went to college up in Washington State—kind of a mad scientist mix of engineering, business, and film. Not your average combo, but it totally paid off. The guy’s basically an inventor when it comes to wire work and stunt rigs, which, let’s be real, makes those superhero movies way cooler. He’s known as a 2nd Unit Director who brings some real creative fire to his projects. You’ve definitely seen his work, even if you didn’t know it: “Spider-Man,” “The Sixth Sense,” “There Will Be Blood,” a bunch of the “X-Men” movies, and loads of Marvel stuff. He pretty much owned the third act of “Doctor Strange.” The dude’s worked with the best of the best. On the personal side, Jeff’s married to Debbie, and they’ve got three kids. Sadly, their oldest, Trevor, an insanely talented stuntman himself, passed away way too young. Shane and Allie, both USC grads, are following in their dad’s film footsteps. This family? Built for the movies.
