Still, if you’ve caught “The Wedding Banquet” (2025), you probably noticed his weirdly magnetic screen presence, even if he doesn’t chew up the scenery like some Hollywood big shots. There’s something subtly intense about him, this way he slips into a role like he’s been living it for years, no forced drama or fake tears. Now, “Scumbag” (2017) is just a different beast. The movie oozes with grungy, chaotic energy, and Jeffrey fits right in with that whole misfit crew. Not exactly the kind of movie you watch with your mom, unless your mom likes a bit of mayhem and dark humor with her popcorn. Liang doesn’t hog the spotlight, but when he pops up, you notice. He’s got this knack for making even the most minor roles feel important, like you’d remember his character way after the credits roll. Then there’s “Kay BeBe Que,” which, to be honest, barely got any mainstream buzz. Doesn’t matter, though—Liang treats it just like any other gig, bringing in that offbeat charisma. He’s not out here chasing awards or red carpets; he just digs into every role, big or small. If you’re into actors who aren’t afraid to get a little weird or unpredictable, keep an eye out for him. You never quite know what you’ll get, but it’s never boring.
