Jenni Burke

Jenni Burke is one of those Canadian performers who seems like she’s been everywhere and done basically everything—stage, TV, film, you name it. She’s the type who can jump from Shakespeare one night to belting show tunes the next, then pop up on TV cracking jokes or getting all dramatic. Her stage credits are stacked—think Bang Bang, Chicago, King Lear, Twelfth Night, Intimate Apparel, The Vagina Monologues… the list goes on, and honestly, it’s kind of wild how varied the roles are. She’s done the whole musical comedy thing (Mamma Mia, All Shook Up, The Drowsy Chaperone), but also hit heavier stuff like The Wars. Critics have actually raved about her, so it’s not just fans hyping her up. On the screen, you might’ve caught her in Kim’s Convenience or Private Eyes, or maybe you remember her from Kids in the Hall or Odd Squad if you watch a lot of Canadian TV. She’s even got Christmas movies (Say Yes to Christmas, Colors of Love), and she’s worked on shows like Overlord and the Underwoods, or Reacher. Recently, she starred in a film called Pattern, so she’s still out there making moves. Back in the day, she had roles in Music Man, Undercover Brother, Half Baked, Rookie Blue—honestly, she pops up everywhere.
