Jonathan runs the film division over at Rideback, and honestly, his resume kind of reads like a highlight reel of big-ticket movies. Since he jumped on board about three years back, he’s been the guy steering projects like live-action ALADDIN (yep, the Guy Ritchie one), DEATH NOTE with Adam Wingard, and THE POPE, which Fernando Meirelles took the helm on. Before Rideback, Jonathan put in a solid nine years at DreamWorks Studios. He climbed the ladder there, winding up as Senior VP. Not too shabby, right? One of the crown jewels from that period: overseeing BRIDGE OF SPIES, which Spielberg himself directed in 2015. The guy also had his fingerprints on NEED FOR SPEED, TRANSFORMERS 2, I AM NUMBER FOUR, and THE HELP—which, by the way, snagged an Oscar nod back in 2011. Go back a bit further and you’ll find Jonathan as the creative assistant to Stacey Snider just as she made her big move from Universal Studios in 2006. Before that, he did a stint at CAA, basically hustling as an assistant and learning the ropes. And even earlier? He was interning at Gold Circle Films and running around as a Production Assistant on the first episodes of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," which, let’s be real, is kind of iconic. For the record, he’s a Harvard grad—History and Literature major. Guess that explains the whole storytelling thing.
