Jonathan Kelley
Jonathan Kelley, Boston born and bred, comes with a resume that’s honestly kind of wild. We're talking Exeter, then Princeton, then Harvard Med, because why not? He dove into anesthesiology—yeah, the folks who literally keep you alive while you’re under the knife. But here’s the twist: just when you think you’ve got him pegged, he’s out there on film, taking on the role of Gary, the hippie commune leader in Amor en 266 Millas. That one’s about to hit theaters, and if the buzz is right, it’s gonna be a trip.
Stage-wise, Jonathan’s no stranger to the limelight. Fourteen seasons (yeah, fourteen!) playing Mr. Cormack in Too Many Tamales, the LA bilingual holiday staple. You’ve probably seen him if you’re into that scene. Offstage, he’s got a life that’s just as full—dude plays piano like he means it, whips up meals (the man’s got a cookbook dropping soon), and zips around on a Xootr Mg kick scooter for, you know, “exercise.” Love that for him.
He’s got two books out—one’s his professional autobiography, the other’s a batch of short stories, both chilling on Amazon if you’re curious. And, just to keep things spicy, he’s married to Gloria Laino, the Puerto Rican actress who’s basically a legend in her own right. So, yeah. Jonathan Kelley: doctor, actor, author, chef, scooter enthusiast. Guy does not quit.
