Kotesh Manava
Kotesh Manava isn’t exactly a household name—yet. Still, if you’ve been paying any kind of attention to Telugu cinema, you’ve probably caught his work, even if you didn’t realize it at first. He popped up in “Sarkaru Vaari Paata” back in 2022, which honestly was a pretty big deal at the box office. The movie had Mahesh Babu front and center, doing his usual superstar thing, but Kotesh managed to carve out his own little corner of the screen. He’s not one of those blink-and-you-miss-him guys; there’s some real presence there.
Then there’s “Brinda” from 2024. This one’s got a slightly different vibe—a bit more dramatic, with all the twists and turns you’d expect from a new-age Telugu flick. Kotesh shows up with a performance that doesn’t just blend into the background. There’s an intensity to his acting, like he’s actually living the part instead of just reciting lines. It’s refreshing, honestly. You don’t always see that from actors who aren’t the lead.
And don’t sleep on “Kalasa: The Symbol of Abundance” from 2023, either. It’s got this whole spiritual, mysterious edge, digging into folklore and cultural themes. Kotesh brings a grounded feel to his role, making the story’s wildest moments feel kind of believable. The guy’s got range. Not saying he’s the next big thing—yet—but if you’re into watching actors before they really blow up, keep an eye on him. He’s got that “something.”
