Kristin Chenoweth

Kristin Chenoweth, honestly, she’s been everywhere—stage, screen, TV, you name it. Born out in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (not exactly Broadway, but hey, genius comes from anywhere), she was adopted by Jerry and Junie, and she’s always been super open about the whole adoption thing. She even supports adoption causes these days, which, props for that. She’s got an older brother, Mark, too. After high school, she went off to Oklahoma City University, totally crushed it in musical theater and opera, picked up a master’s while she was at it. If you know Broadway, you know Chenoweth—she lit up “Steel Pier,” “Epic Proportions,” and snagged her first Tony for “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” But most folks probably link her with “Wicked”—she was the original Glinda, and that role was basically written for her. Got nominated for another Tony, of course. She’s not just about the stage, though. Chenoweth’s done TV (like, a lot), including “Pushing Daisies”—she played Olive and even scored an Emmy for it. “Glee” fans won’t forget her as April Rhodes, either. Movies? She pops up in comedies like “You Again,” “Four Christmases,” and plenty more. And yeah, she sings—she’s got a few albums out and even did a solo at the Met, which is a big deal. These days, she splits her time between New York and LA, never really slowing down. Honestly, she’s one of those people who just does it all and makes it look easy.
