Lindsay LaVanchy

Lindsay Noelle Windal LaVanchy, born in St. Louis, had all the makings of a classic Midwest kid—think camping trips, horseback rides, and those wild Ozark summers. But she wasn’t just hanging out in the woods; she was already performing at The Muny Opera, which, fun fact, is the biggest outdoor theater in North America. After high school, she headed straight to UCLA to study theater, but didn’t stop there—she took her curiosity (and suitcase) to Europe, learning from theater legends in Berlin and on the volcanic island of Stromboli, Italy. Not your average study abroad. Back in LA, Lindsay dove into film. She starred in and co-wrote the horror short "Dembanger," which snagged Best Horror Short at the IFS festival. That turned into a full-blown feature—she wrote, produced, and starred in what became "Initiation," which earned a spot at SXSW. As if that wasn’t enough, she kept collaborating with the same director on projects like "The Labyrinth" (produced by James Franco), a Giorgio Armani film that hit TIFF, and a cheeky horror flick called "The Mannequin" (coming 2025). She’s also shared the screen with Danny Pudi in "The Tyler Zone" and worked with Bastille on a music video, not to mention popping up in TV shows, Super Bowl spots, and national commercials. On stage, her performance in "Baby Doll" had critics raving. Her creative streak continued with "Trying," a female friendship breakup film that won over audiences and is now in feature development, plus she’s got a new romance project in the works, set in the unforgettable summer of ‘74.
