Maala Parvathi

She kicked off her career as an anchor with the show 'Ulkazhcha' on Asianet, kinda dipping her toes into the world of TV before jumping right into movies. If you’re into Malayalam films, you’ve probably seen her face—she made her acting debut back in 2007 with "Time," directed by Shaji Kailas. And honestly, she’s been popping up everywhere since then. Think "Bheeshma Parvam," "Godha," "Take Off," "Malik"—all those movies where you just can’t ignore her screen presence. Oh, and she doesn’t just stick to Malayalam; she’s done her thing in Telugu too, like in "Tuck Jagadish," and in Tamil with "Game Over" (which, by the way, also came out in Hindi and Telugu) and "F.I.R." She even showed up in "Neelathamara," which is kinda a big deal for anyone who’s been following Malayalam cinema. But acting’s not the only card up her sleeve. She’s got some serious theatre chops—been a part of 'Abhinaya,' a well-known theatre group in Thiruvananthapuram. She’s worked with director M.G Jyothish on a bunch of plays: "The Lady from the Sea" (they call it "Sagara Kanyaka" in Malayalam), "The Lesson," "Irakalodu Mathramalla Samsarikendathu," and "Bhagavadajjugam." That’s a pretty diverse lineup, right? On top of all that, she’s also penned a book called "Mayoorageethangal" and even written lyrics for some musical albums. Basically, she’s juggling films, theatre, and writing—guess some people really do it all.
