Marshall Cook, straight outta Santa Rosa, California, isn’t your typical Hollywood cookie-cutter. The guy kicked off at Occidental College in LA, mixing it up with a Film and New Media Production degree and a theater minor—so, yeah, he’s been marinating in the arts for a while. Early on, he dove headfirst into both sides of the lens, juggling acting gigs and behind-the-scenes work on everything from indie films to TV shows to those cheeky comedy shorts you binge when you should be working. His big break? That’d be “Jeepers Creepers 2”—yep, horror flicks run deep in his veins. But he didn’t just stick to acting. Marshall wrote and directed “Division III: Football’s Finest,” a wild comedy that basically channels his own D3 college quarterback days (dude’s got stories, for sure). After that, he switched gears and went on a commercial spree, directing and producing ads, all while sharpening his improv chops at iO West. Eventually, the indie film bug bit him again. He starred in “Hunting Lands”—think gritty, low-budget, but totally gripping. Then came “Film Fest,” his second comedy feature, which he co-wrote and directed. The film hit the Austin Film Fest in 2020—pretty cool, right? Lately, Marshall’s been stacking up some solid acting creds: snagging roles in Amazon’s “Goliath,” and popping up in flicks like “Copshop,” “Shadow Force,” and “Not Without Hope.” The guy’s got range—comedy, drama, action—you name it. And honestly, he’s just warming up.
