Matilda Firth? Yeah, she’s that kid from Leeds who basically never sat still. Middle child, classic energy—always in the thick of things. She was already hamming it up in drama class before most kids even figured out what “improv” means. By the time she’d outgrown her first set of school shoes, she was popping up in ads, TV, movies—you name it. Her big break? The 2021 McDonald’s Christmas ad in the UK (directed by Bert and Bertie, no less), and she was only six. Six! What were the rest of us doing at six? Anyway, after that, the train didn’t slow down. In 2022, she grabbed parts in Disney’s Disenchanted, Vampire Academy, Sky’s Christmas Carole, and Starve Acre. Oh, and she showed up as Grace in Hullraisers for two whole seasons. Not bad for someone who probably still gets asked for ID at the movies. 2023 rolled in, and she’s filming with Megan Fox in Subservience, then shows up as Nancy in BBC’s Time (honestly, that show’s a big deal). She wasn’t done—she pulled off Sophie in Coma, and Mille-Jo in Mr Bates vs The Post Office (which, let’s be real, made some serious waves). Fast forward to 2024, and she’s off to New Zealand for three months shooting Wolf Man with Blumhouse and Universal, directed by Leigh Whannell. Barely had time to breathe before jumping onto season two of Nine Perfect Strangers. Oh, and reps? She’s got Paradigm in the US and Articulate in the UK. Not exactly rookie status.
