Michel Morales? Oh, he’s been hustling in the German film scene since way back—like, '99. That’s when he kicked things off with Haifisch Entertainment AG in Munich. The guy wears a bunch of hats: producer, director, writer. Not just dabbling, either—he actually produced “Quiero Ser,” which snagged an Oscar for Best Short Live Action in 2001. That’s not exactly small potatoes. And, as if that wasn’t enough, he scooped up this fat newcomer prize from the German film copyright society that same year. Bit of a flex, honestly. He didn’t stop there, though. By 2003, Morales set up shop in Ludwigsburg with MIROMAR Entertainment AG. He’s running the show there as Chairman and Executive Producer (because apparently sleep is for the weak). Then, for kicks, he set up CMdoc in 2005 just to focus on international documentary films. I mean, who does that? Morales, apparently. And guess what? It paid off. Fast-forward to 2007, and his documentary “Goering – A Career” snags gold at the New York Festivals. Yeah, GOLD. Not bad for a guy who started out in Munich with just an idea and probably a pocket full of dreams. So, if you’re keeping track, Morales isn’t just making movies. He’s raking in awards, launching companies, and bouncing between narrative and documentary projects like it’s nothing. He’s pretty much a one-man film industry over there in Germany.
