Nathalie Rapti Gomez
Nathalie snagged a Golden Globe back in 2006, and now she’s about to light up the big screen as Mary Magdalene in 'The Last Supper.' The film’s dropping exclusively in US theaters March 14th, so mark your calendars if you’re into epic biblical dramas.
She’s got a wild blend of roots—Greek, Colombian, Italian, Bavarian, even British. Born in Colombia, bounced around Italy and Greece growing up, so her accent game is next level. She talks in English, Spanish, Italian, Greek, probably whatever else you throw at her, and she actually likes to mess around with different accents just for fun.
Story goes, she bailed on a pharmacy degree at King’s College London (yeah, gave up a scholarship and everything) because the acting bug bit her hard. She packed her bags for Rome and dove into a three-year acting course at the National School of Cinema. Got her diploma in 2006 and basically hit the ground running. Italian films, big TV networks, you name it—she stood out enough to win the Italian Golden Globe for Best Upcoming Actress in ‘Ultimi della Classe.’
Hollywood noticed too. She popped up in 'Romeo and Juliette' by Carlo Carlei and even landed a Super Bowl commercial spot for Fiat. Since then, she’s been all over—Netflix’s 'Ride,' 'Sanctuary' on HBO Spain, 'Devils' on CW and Sky, and Disney’s 'Penny On Mars.' These days, she’s hanging out in Rome, still chasing the next big thing.
