Neb Chupin
Neb Chupin’s story doesn’t exactly follow a straight line. Born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia, he didn’t even think about Hollywood until way later. First, he did the “serious adult” thing—moved to the States, cranked out an engineering degree from Northeastern in Boston, and got his hands dirty working at places like MIT and Nextel. Yeah, not your typical actor origin story.
But then, somewhere around the year 2000, he just flipped the script. Started taking acting classes at CP Casting Studio in Boston, and—just like that—jumped from engineering into the wild world of modeling and acting in Miami. Not everyone would’ve had the guts to switch tracks like that, but Neb did.
You might’ve spotted him as Michael Shannon’s stand-in in Bad Boys 2, though blink and you’d miss it. But it wasn’t long before he started racking up real credits. His first taste of producing came on the feature “411,” which just lit a fire under him. Next stop? Los Angeles, obviously. He trained at Anthony Mendel’s Actor Workshop and landed his first real dramatic role in the award-winning short “Final Stop.” Then came gigs in “Feel The Dead” over in Italy and a short film in Belgium that scored him a bunch of award nominations.
The guy doesn’t sit still. In less than five years, Neb stacked up roles in over twenty films—rubbing shoulders with big names like John Travolta and Dolph Lundgren. “Obsessio” even bagged him a special acting award at the Venice Film Festival. Now, he’s got movies in the pipeline, producing and starring in titles like “Wrongful Death 2,” “The Last Redemption,” and the fantasy flick “The Stormrider.” From Zagreb to Hollywood, it’s been one hell of a ride.
