Nick Barrotta
Barrotta grew up bouncing between the sunny streets of L.A. and the suburbs of Long Island, always surrounded by his three brothers—Jake, Zack, and Michael. From the jump, he was one of those kids glued to everything sports or pop culture, and honestly, that obsession never really faded. High school was Walt Whitman, then he rolled right into Hofstra University, diving headfirst into broadcast journalism. Being so close to the city? Total game-changer. He jumped at every chance to get involved in the entertainment world, and before long, he was popping up at industry events and red carpets like it was nothing.
He hustled his way into gigs with big outlets—Celebuzz, The Wrap, Entertainment Tonight—chatting up absolute icons like John Legend, Khloe Kardashian, Jordin Sparks, Heidi Klum, and Taraji P. Henson. 2015 brought his own mini-interview series, “Drinking with the Stars,” and he even snagged a spot in the first commercial for Dock 72 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Why stop there? He started modeling, too. Perry Ellis, New Balance, Muscle Pharm, Madison Square Garden, Men’s Health—you name it, he’s probably done it.
August 2018, Barrotta showed up on Divorce Court with FOX, holding it down as Bailiff and Court Reporter for two seasons with Judge Lynn Toler. Then in 2019, Tyler Perry tapped him to play Allan on BET’s prime-time soap The Oval. He’s been a regular on the show ever since. Dude’s everywhere, and he’s not slowing down for anybody.
