Nithiin

Nithiin, who actually goes by Nithin Kumar Reddy when he’s not lighting up the screen, is a pretty familiar face in Telugu cinema—yeah, that’s the dude. Born to Sudhakar Reddy, a big name in production, and Vindhya Reddy, he grew up in a film-loving house. His sister Nikitha Reddy’s also kind of in the mix. Nithiin’s whole film journey kicked off with Jayam back in 2002 thanks to director Teja, and honestly, the guy hit the ground running. Then came Dil, another big project, this time with V.V. Vinayak at the helm. Fun fact: the producer Raju basically got called “Dil Raju” after this film popped off. Not a bad legacy, right? That same year, he did Sambaram—yep, another Teja flick. Jump to 2004, and he’s leading Sri Anjaneyam, directed by Krishna Vamsi, and Sye with S.S. Rajamouli (yes, the same Rajamouli who did Baahubali later on). Sye was a monster hit, by the way. Fast forward a bit—2012’s Ishq was a major checkpoint for him, then came Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013), Chinnadana Nee Kosam, Heart Attack (Puri Jagannadh directed that one), and Courier Boy Kalyan in 2015. A Aa in 2016? That one smashed box office records for him. Besides acting, he’s produced a few movies, including Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, Chinnadana Nee Kosam, and Akhil: The Power of Jua. The guy’s got some awards too—Filmfare Best Male Debut for Jayam, and a couple Santosham awards for his 2004 hits. Not bad for a guy who started out as just another star kid.
