From running around Pembroke, Illinois—yeah, that tiny town Oprah called the poorest in America—to snagging an MFA from UCLA, the guy’s been on the move since day one. First year out of college? Boom, he’s already landing roles on Hill St. Blues and The Young & the Restless. Not too shabby. Thing is, Ricco hates being boxed in. Instead of sticking around to get typecast, he jets off to London and dives headfirst into Shakespeare at LAMDA. One year in England turns into over a decade bouncing all over Europe—acting in London, modeling in France and Italy, even saying “nah” to a pro basketball deal in Cyprus. He’s lived and worked everywhere: UK, Africa, Asia, you name it. His acting credits? The list goes on forever—Aliens, Mission Impossible, E.R., Babylon 5, JAG, even P-Valley. The man’s done it all, from sci-fi to soap operas to holiday flicks. But honestly? All the red carpets and movie sets don’t hold a candle to what Ricco treasures most: his wife Julie, their awesome kids, and his godson Nicolas.
