Rick LeFevour Jr.
reference
Rick LeFevour Jr. has lived and breathed stunts since the day he could walk—probably even before that, honestly. Born in Woodstock, Illinois (yeah, the one with the famous groundhog), he jumped onto the movie scene back in 2005 with “The Weather Man.” Since then, he’s shown up everywhere—seriously, everywhere. If you binge “Chicago Fire” or “Chicago Med,” you’ve definitely spotted his work (maybe even his face, if you blinked at the right moment). The dude’s basically a mainstay in Midwest film and TV, racking up credits on flicks like “Batman: Vengeance” (2022) and “Trial of Chicago 7” (2020). Not too shabby, right?
But it doesn’t stop at jumping off buildings or crashing cars. In recent years, Rick’s been running the show as a stunt coordinator, wrangling chaos for “Chicago Med” (seasons 6 through 10, no less) and “Emperor of Ocean Park” (season 1). He’s also got a couple of wild features under his belt—“Someone Saved My Life” and “Up and Comer,” both dropping in 2025. And get this: by 2024, he made the leap to 2nd Unit Director, joining the DGA club. Not everyone gets that badge, let’s be real. Basically, when it comes to stunts in the Midwest (and honestly, probably everywhere else), Rick’s the guy you want in your corner.
