Robin Jonas

Robin Jonas runs City Hill Arts, a production company that's all about putting out stories that actually mean something—stuff that lifts people up or makes them think twice. She’s no newbie, either. With three decades under her belt, Robin’s been inside the big studios—Miramax, Disney, Paramount, you name it. At one point, she was steering the ship at Kevin Costner’s Tig Productions, handling everything from development to the money side of things, plus making sure projects actually got made. The two even teamed up on Treehouse Films back in 2008. Her fingerprints are all over some major movies: SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, PULP FICTION, THE KING’S SPEECH, AMÉLIE, GOOD WILL HUNTING, and a ton more. She’s also produced flicks like MR. BROOKS and SWING VOTE—big names, big stars. Right now, she’s working alongside Costner again for THE EXPLORER'S GUILD, and producing THE STORY OF LUCY GAULT with director Aisling Walsh. And get this—she’s got exclusive rights to a wild Cold War story set in Georgia. Apparently, she’s a bookworm too, scooping up rights to stories she thinks will challenge and entertain people. Beyond film, Robin’s dabbled as a strategic advisor—politics, branding, media, the whole circus. She sharpened these skills during those cutthroat Oscar campaigns at Miramax and later during actual election cycles. She’s also kept up her late dad’s legacy—Louis Paul Jonas, Jr.—the wildlife sculptor behind those epic elephant displays at the Museum of Natural History. Originally from the Berkshires, Robin went to Boston University, once raced skis at a national level, and now sits on boards like The World Is Just A Book Away Foundation. She’s even in Who’s Who In America. Not bad, huh?
