Rylan Jackson

Born in Torrance but basically raised on the wild streets (and freeways) of L.A., Rylan Jackson is pure Angeleno with a dash of East Coast lineage for extra flavor. His family rolled into California as first-generation city dwellers, so maybe that’s where he gets the whole “jump in headfirst” attitude. Rylan’s thing for acting started the old-school way—back in school plays, hamming it up in front of classmates, chasing the rush of stepping into somebody else’s shoes for a while. Turns out, that adrenaline never really left. His first crack at the big screen? DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS. Not a shabby way to make an entrance. But then, boom—Netflix’s BACK IN ACTION, where he gets to call Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx “mom and dad” (on camera, obviously). Not many can say that, right? Rylan’s got a soft spot for action heroes, especially Chris Evans’ Captain America, and you can totally see that in the gutsy roles he goes after. But it’s not all scripts and sets. When the director yells cut, Rylan’s probably glued to a game controller, shooting hoops, smacking baseballs into the next zip code, or banging out tunes for his crew on the piano. Whatever he’s doing, he’s all in—no half-measures. He brings that same spark, whether he's under stage lights or just chilling with friends. Basically, the kid’s got range, and he’s just getting started.
