Alright, so 1134 (2024) is one of those movies that just kinda sneaks up on you. Sairam Guggilla’s at the center of it all, and honestly, the film’s got this whole vibe that feels like someone cracked open their head and let all their weirdest thoughts spill out on screen. Basically, you’re thrown into this wild mix of paranoia, obsession, and that sense of doom you get at 2 a.m. when you remember every dumb thing you did in high school. The plot doesn’t hold your hand—no, it just drops you in the deep end and says, “Swim.” There’s this number—1134—that pops up everywhere. It’s on clocks, receipts, graffiti, whatever. The main character (played by Guggilla) gets all tangled up trying to figure out what the heck it means. Is it code? Is it a warning? Is he just losing it? The film blurs reality and hallucination so tightly that you’re not sure what’s real and what’s just in his head. Along the way, you meet all these side characters who might be helping or might be screwing with him. The city feels like it’s closing in, almost like it’s another character that’s out to get him. Some scenes are trippy as hell—think neon lights, weird camera angles, the works. By the end, you’re left wondering if any of it was real or if he was doomed from the start. Not your typical thriller, that’s for sure.
