Sammy Jonas, 24, is just tearing it up in the acting world lately. He’s one of those faces you start seeing everywhere, but you still go, "Wait, who’s that guy again?" Yeah, that one. Bollywood, British TV, streaming stuff—you name it, he’s probably dipped his toes in. He’s popped up in 'James Bond' (which, come on, is already a flex), 'London Misal' on Amazon Prime, and BBC’s 'Horrible Histories' (season 10, episode 3, if you’re the type who goes back and checks). He’s done some wild crossovers too. Turns out, his first trip to India wasn’t for the food or the yoga retreats, but to work on 'Extraction' with Chris freakin’ Hemsworth. Casual. Since then, he’s gotten his face on everything from Zee’s 'Telugu Ischool' to a role with Sunil Grover in 'United Kacche' (episode 8). Not to mention Disney Channel’s 'Anandi Baa And Emily' and a role in 'Atal' on Zee. Netflix? Oh yeah, he’s there too—'Operation Mayfair', 'High End Yaariyaan', 'The Girl on The Train' remake, and 'Tuesdays and Fridays'. One of his big breaks came thanks to international scout Sahil BK, who was literally scouring the globe for actors who didn’t just look like every other dude on TV. That led to gigs with some of Bollywood’s biggest names in 'Welcome to New York' and 'Quickie'. Lately, Sammy’s all about the South Indian film scene—Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam—because, honestly, those movies are eating Hollywood and Bollywood’s lunch these days. Oh, and fun fact? Ninety-five percent of his Indian projects were actually shot in England, Scotland, or Canada. Guy really gets around.
