Sheena Hao

Sheena Hao grew up in Taipei, Taiwan, basically living and breathing the arts since she was a kid. We’re talking acting, martial arts, picking up languages—you name it, she was all over it. She got her start crazy young, enrolling at the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts at just ten years old. Ten years! That’s a whole childhood spent grinding alongside some of the legends of Taiwanese performing arts. While her classmates were probably stressing about homework, Sheena was out there working with a professional Chinese Theatrical company, getting deep into Peking Opera and performing both at home and abroad. Yeah, she even represented Taiwan in places like New York, LA, and all over Europe—pretty wild for someone still finding her footing. But Sheena wasn’t content to stay put. Curiosity got the better of her, and she hit the road, eventually landing in Italy in 1995. Something about the place must’ve just clicked. She didn’t waste time either—signed up for acting courses at Milan’s Actor Zone Studio of Acting and threw herself into the Italian theater scene. The woman seriously lives for cinema, and her passion just kept drawing her into new projects, this time with Italian productions. These days, Sheena’s journey feels like a wild mashup of cultures, art, and straight-up guts. She never really stopped learning or chasing down new challenges, and that’s probably what makes her so damn interesting to watch—on stage or off.
