Siddharth Vasani

Siddharth’s got his roots tangled deep in Mumbai’s film scene—literally grew up in the middle of it all. Back in 2010, he kicked things off by assisting Raj Mistry, who’s kind of a legend in the commercial photography world. Three years hustling alongside Raj, working on shoots, and somewhere along the line, Siddharth caught the moving-picture bug. Stills just weren’t cutting it anymore, so he jumped headfirst into cinematography. He didn’t just wing it, though—he got schooled by some of the best, like Anuj Dhawan and Mitesh Mirchandani. Those on-set days, whether at tiny indie productions or big-budget gigs, really sharpened his instincts and style. Fast forward twelve years, and Siddharth’s got a seriously packed résumé: feature films, a bunch of slick commercials, music videos, and even live shows that landed on Netflix and Amazon. Guy’s been everywhere. Recently, he wrapped up shooting his fourth feature, “Article 370.” Before that, he was behind the lens for “A Thursday,” which straight-up smashed it—critics loved it, audiences binged it, and it racked up awards, not to mention being the top-watched OTT film in 2022. “Chhatriwali” also made some noise. Oh, and he’s got another feature, “Dhoom Dham,” all shot and ready to drop soon. Plus, he was the Second Unit Cinematographer on “URI: The Surgical Strike,” which got a ton of hype. Siddharth’s not just part of the industry—he’s making his mark, one frame at a time.
