Sterling K. Brown

Sterling K. Brown’s career is just stacked, honestly. Dude went from winning an Emmy for This Is Us—yeah, that show that makes everyone ugly cry—to straight up making history as the first Black actor to snag a Golden Globe in his category. Not to mention, he scooped up a SAG Award and pretty much every other trophy you can think of: NAACP, Critics Choice, you name it. He’s racked up more nominations than most people have socks. He grew up in St. Louis, lost his dad really young, but still hustled his way from Stanford to NYU’s Tisch, which is basically the Ivy League of acting schools. Now he’s living that LA life with his wife and kids. If you watched The People v. O.J. Simpson, you totally remember him as Christopher Darden—he even grabbed an Emmy for that, too. Oh, and he showed up in Black Panther, which is just flexing at this point. Plus, he’s done his thing in The Predator, Hotel Artemis, Marshall, and even hung out with Tina Fey in Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Brown’s also got serious theater chops—won an NAACP Theatre Award, did Shakespeare, and even acted with Al Pacino. Not your average resume. TV-wise, besides This Is Us, he was on Army Wives forever, and popped up in Supernatural, Person of Interest, Masters of Sex, Castle, and Criminal Minds. Film credits? He’s been in Our Idiot Brother, The Suspect, Righteous Kill, Trust the Man, Spaceman… the list goes on. Basically, the guy doesn’t stop working.
