Varun Dhawan
Varun Dhawan, son of the famous director David Dhawan, grew up in Mumbai, got schooled at Bombay Scottish, then jetted off to the UK for a business degree—fancy, right? He jumped into Bollywood with “Student of the Year” back in 2012, and honestly, he’s been everywhere since then. People instantly noticed his charm, those dance moves, and his knack for grabbing attention. The guy can switch from a goofball in “Main Tera Hero” to a full-blown tragic hero in “Badlapur” without breaking a sweat.
He’s not just a one-trick pony, either. Varun went from rom-coms like “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” to the intense, emotional drama of “October,” and folks loved it. He’s got the comic timing down too, like in “Coolie No. 1” and “Jug Jugg Jeeyo.” And don’t forget his wild dance flicks—“Any Body Can Dance 2” and “Street Dancer 3D”—he basically rules the dance floor.
Even when a film didn’t totally crush it at the box office, like “Kalank,” people still talked about his performance. He’s scooped up awards and plenty of style points, plus he’s into charity work, which is always cool. Oh, and he married his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal in 2021. All in all, Varun’s kind of become Bollywood’s go-to guy for energy, laughs, and a little bit of everything else.
