Vijay M P
Tourist Family (2025) drops you straight into the chaos of family vacations gone spectacularly sideways. Vijay M P stars as the well-meaning, slightly over-caffeinated dad who’s convinced that hauling his crew across the country in a packed SUV will bring everyone closer together. Spoiler: things don’t go as planned. Between lost luggage, misbehaving GPS, and those classic “Are we there yet?” meltdowns, the family is forced to confront more than just weird roadside attractions and questionable motel breakfasts.
The movie isn’t all slapstick, though—there’s a bit of heart in there. As the family zigzags through tourist traps, they start to unpack their own baggage (not just the suitcases). Old grudges, inside jokes, and a few hilarious secrets come tumbling out. At one point, there’s even a wild goose chase involving a missing phone and an oddly aggressive raccoon—totally believable if you’ve ever traveled with kids.
The real charm here is watching these folks try to hold it together—sometimes failing spectacularly, sometimes surprising each other. Vijay M P’s comedic timing is on point, and the supporting cast nails those “relatable but slightly unhinged” family dynamics. By the end, you’re rooting for them, even if you’re also kind of glad you’re not crammed in the backseat with them. Basically, Tourist Family is a reminder that the best stories (and the worst vacations) are the ones you survive together.
