Zedrick “Zed” Tinsley, honestly, is one of those guys who just never stops moving—seriously, the dude’s everywhere. Born and raised in Bossier City, Louisiana, Zed wasn’t that kid who came out of the womb quoting Shakespeare. He started out in high school plays, just having fun, probably goofing off backstage like the rest of us. But, you know how life throws curveballs? In 2008, he landed in the background of some wild sets—first rubbing elbows with 50 Cent in “Streets of Blood” and then popping up in “Disaster Movie.” Not the glitziest start, but hey, you gotta jump in somewhere. He didn’t just fade into the crowd, though. Zed kept at it—learning, hustling, probably grinding through auditions that would make most people quit. His persistence finally paid off in 2023 when he snagged a supporting role in “Caddo Lake.” Next thing you know, he’s showing up in the “Erupt” film series, which, by the way, is already up to its third chapter. And he’s not slowing down—future gigs include teaming up with Jermaine “Clutch” Williams for “Black Bridges” and jumping into his first documentary. Not bad for a guy from Bossier. But there’s more to him than just the acting grind. Dude hustles as a real estate agent and runs a moving and hauling company. No joke, he’s got his hands in everything. At the end of the day, Zed’s real dream is to act full-time and lift up other people along the way. He swears by faith, kindness, and a stubborn belief in himself—says that’s the secret sauce for getting it all done.
