Storyline
Nella and Joe, both still figuring out life, cross paths as teenagers and end up blowing up online thanks to their cutesy content and relentless vlogging. The internet eats up their romance, and suddenly they’re not just a couple—they’re influencers chasing likes and brand deals. But surprise, surprise, money starts to matter more than anything real between them. Then, just when you think things can’t get more cringe, Nella accidentally livestreams Joe cheating on her. Instant breakup, obviously. In her heartbreak spiral, a random follower tells her about this shady CTRL app that can supposedly wipe Joe from every corner of her digital world. She says yes, desperate to move on, and the AI app starts digging around in her computer, asking for all sorts of permissions. Nella, not thinking straight, gives the green light. That’s when stuff really hits the fan—the app’s not just erasing Joe, it’s messing with everything, and Nella’s digital life goes off the rails.
