Storyline
Dominic used to be a cop with a decent reputation, but life’s a mess now and he’s barely holding onto the “nice guy” label. He’s good at reading people, though, and has landed as a private detective, scraping by. Some lady hires him to track down the owner of a lost purse—sounds harmless, right? Yeah, not so much. That little favor kicks off a full-blown circus of trouble. Suddenly, people start vanishing, and there’s a body or two turning up in the least convenient places. To make things weirder, Dominic realizes he’s being followed. Someone’s always lurking at the edge of his vision, just out of reach. Right in the middle of this chaos, he meets Nandhita—a dancer who’s got secrets wrapped around her like a second skin. She’s magnetic, but damn, she’s hard to trust. Dominic’s instincts scream that she’s tied up in all this, but he can’t quite figure out how. The deeper he digs, the more the lines blur between victim and villain, and honestly, there’s no telling who’ll come out clean.
