Storyline
Mars is home now—sky all red, cities in domes, the whole deal. Earth? Kind of a toxic wasteland, barely hanging on by a thread, and not many folks left who even remember what it felt like to breathe real air or walk under the sun. Most people are born Martian, raised on stories about the blue planet as some half-mythical place. Thing is, every year, a handful of people get picked—lottery style—to go back to Earth and help out with the whole rehab project. For them, it’s not just a job, it’s the first time they’ll see their supposed homeland with their own eyes. Imagine stepping out into forests that barely exist, oceans struggling to stay alive, and cities swallowed by green or dust. That’s where the real trip starts—dealing with the ghosts of the past, the weight of memory, and the question of whether Earth will ever feel like home. Mars raised them, but Earth calls them back. Psychological thriller, yeah, but also a wild ride into what “home” even means when everything’s changed.
