Storyline
Lourenço is pretty much lost—literally and emotionally—wandering through Provincetown with nothing but heartbreak and an undocumented status weighing him down. You can almost feel the salt in the air and the sting in his chest as summer starts winding down. Provincetown, that wild, weird, glitter-crusted haven for the queer community, should feel like home, but for Lourenço, it’s more like floating in limbo. Cue Maurice, who crashes into his life just when everything seems to be slipping through his fingers. Their connection? Raw, electric, and a little messy—like all the best summer flings. But it’s deeper than that. These two aren’t just hooking up and moving on; they’re both dragging around old baggage, haunted by the choices that brought them here, and kind of terrified of what comes next. As the days get shorter, they’re forced to face all the crap they’ve been running from, while daring to hope for something real in a place famous for its temporary magic. Not your average love story.
