Storyline
A nuclear bomb wipes out LA—total nightmare fuel, right? The country basically loses its mind overnight, and ex-Green Beret Jeff Eriksson grabs his family and bolts for The Homestead, which is this wild, heavily fortified mountain compound run by an offbeat prepper who’s been waiting for doomsday since, like, forever. Inside, you’ve got a bunch of survivors all crammed together, trying to play nice while the world outside is basically on fire. But it’s not just outside threats they have to sweat—there’s plenty of tension and paranoia simmering inside those walls too. People start showing their true colors when they're desperate, and you can feel the sense that things could fly off the rails at any second. As food runs low and strangers lurk in the woods, the group’s forced to decide how far they’ll go to protect their turf and each other. It’s a gritty fight for survival, with danger closing in from all sides—nature, human nature, and everything in between.
