Storyline
Early ‘90s Poland, and this ex-cop—played by Olaf Lubaszenko—gets yanked right outta his post-police purgatory. Why? Well, the higher-ups dangle a little redemption if he tracks down whoever hit the bank, and fast. There’s a rookie policewoman tagging along, which sounds helpful but, honestly, just adds to his headaches. The authorities? Not thrilled that the media’s swarming all over this mess, poking into their business. So, the guy’s got pressure coming from every angle: prove he’s not washed-up, catch a gang that’s two steps ahead, and keep the press from turning this into a circus. You can almost smell the desperation. He’s not just chasing crooks—he’s clawing for his own second chance, even if it means bending some rules along the way. The mood’s tense, stakes are high, and nobody’s really playing fair. It’s less about justice and more about survival, reputation, and maybe, just maybe, a shot at redemption before the door slams shut for good.
