Storyline
Vinod, played by Dhanush, grows up in a Catholic orphanage under the watchful eye of a priest, Nagesh. He’s got the brains, no doubt, but when he ends up at this fancy university, the dude’s thrown straight into the deep end—city life, new faces, the whole shebang. It’s not exactly a warm welcome either. Most of the college crowd can’t get over his awkward style and rough-around-the-edges vibe. Basically, he sticks out like a sore thumb and gets roasted for it. Except for Divya—Sonia Agarwal’s character—who actually sees something in him. Classic setup, right? Guy meets girl, falls hard. But, oh, there’s a twist. He’s not the only one after her, and his rivals are about to find out that Vinod doesn’t play by the usual rulebook. When push comes to shove, Vinod’s got his own wild way of tackling problems, and honestly, it’s not what anyone expects. It’s that whole underdog thing, but with a bit more bite and a lot less predictability.
