Storyline
Li Fong, a kung fu prodigy, gets dropped into the chaos of New York with his mom, trying to fit into some fancy new school. He thinks he’s finally catching a break when he bonds with a classmate and her dad, but nope—trouble finds him fast. The local karate hotshot can’t stand the new kid on his turf, and suddenly Li’s stuck in a rivalry he never asked for. Instead of backing down, Li decides he’s going to take the fight to the big leagues—the ultimate karate competition. He’s got some real heavy hitters in his corner, too: the wise Mr. Han (yeah, Jackie Chan himself) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio, back at it), both throwing their own styles into the mix. Li’s training is a mashup of old-school kung fu and classic karate, and he’s got to blend it all if he wants to survive the epic showdown waiting for him. It’s heart, grit, and a whole lot of martial arts mayhem.
