Storyline
Sari’s life is basically a rom-com gone sideways. She’s got this wild belief she’s cursed because, apparently, any dude she falls for just disappears—poof, gone. Not exactly the best track record for dating, right? Then there’s Jolo, a dude who’s equal parts brooding and stressed out, mostly ‘cause his apartment building is falling apart and, honestly, so is his patience. Their worlds crash together when both end up fighting to keep their little community from getting bulldozed by some corporate sharks. The problem? Sari’s so-called curse is looming over their heads, making things way more complicated than your average will-they-won’t-they. As they team up, sparks fly (because of course they do), but there’s always this awkward, “hey, am I next to vanish?” tension hanging in the air. With the threat of losing not just their home but maybe each other, it’s a mess of hope, superstition, and a lot of stubborn hearts refusing to give up.
