Storyline
Zoya Lowe, a physicist in Miami, is basically running out of time—she’s got this black hole growing on her chest and just a week left to live. Her family—husband Donald, daughter Jayne, and Jayne’s fiancé Morris—bring her home, trying to make her last days as peaceful as possible. Then, things get weird. Zoya starts bleeding, which, yeah, not a good sign, so she goes to the bathroom and downs this mysterious pill she’s had since she was twelve. Somehow, boom, she jumps back five days into her past. It’s wild. Suddenly she’s obsessed with figuring out how the pill works and if she can go back even further, maybe fix some regrets. She ropes in Paula, a grad student, but after a bunch of failed experiments, they’re stuck. So Zoya heads to Princeton to meet up with her old university buddy Mark and his son. After all that soul-searching and science stuff, she realizes she probably made the best choices she could. Life, huh?
