Storyline
Ian’s the classic oldest kid—forever juggling dreams with his buddies while secretly drowning in everyone’s expectations. He’s always the guy who seems like he’s got it together, even though the pressure low-key pushes him away from his own family. Then life just absolutely wrecks him: his parents are ripped away in a blink, no warning, no nothing. Suddenly, all that “be strong for everyone” stuff isn’t just cliché advice—it’s survival. Ian tries to swallow every single feeling, acting like he’s fine, playing the tough guy, but really, he’s just getting number and number inside. Friends try to reach him, but he’s locked up tight, convinced he can’t crack even a smile without everything falling apart. The story’s not about some perfect hero—it’s about a kid who’s totally lost, faking it till he makes it, and maybe, just maybe, figuring out how to actually feel again. It’s messy, raw, and way more real than most folks want to admit.
