Storyline
Putin sits at the top, basically untouchable, ruling Russia like it’s his own personal empire. He’s crushed his enemies, got rid of anyone who threatened his grip, and now? He’s surrounded by fear, not friends. Moscow’s tense, like everyone’s waiting for the next move—and the rest of the world? They’re scared stiff of Russia, but deep down, nobody actually respects it. Irony, right? Putin’s kind of a parody of himself at this point. The movie digs into his life from the start: abandoned by his mom, tough childhood, shady KGB years, run-ins with mobsters in St. Petersburg, and now, the whole Ukraine mess. It’s all there—how he got to power, who he had to step on (or pay off) to get there, and what actually drives the guy. The film pokes into his head, trying to figure out what makes him tick. Is he just power-hungry, or is there more? And honestly, with the way things are going, you gotta wonder—are we on the edge of something even bigger?
