Storyline
John wakes up groggy as hell on the Odyssey1, halfway to Titan, still shaking off the weird side effects from hibernation drugs—like, he can’t even remember his girlfriend Zoe’s last name. He’s not alone; Captain Franks and Nash are there, running system checks and calling Houston. The ship’s computer says the confusion’s normal, so, whatever. John drifts back into sleep and flashes back to when mission leader Sam Napier introduced him to Zoe, who, surprise, became his girlfriend. Next wake-up? He gets clocked by a panel, and suddenly there’s unexplained hull damage. Computer’s clueless—no sign of a hit. Nash starts spiraling, freaking out about the slingshot maneuver around Jupiter. He wants to bail and turn back to Earth, but Franks isn’t having it. They pull off the maneuver, then hibernate again. When John comes to, Nash has totally lost it, sabotaged the reactor with John’s password. John’s dreams get weirder—did Franks kill Nash? Now Franks is packing heat, Nash is MIA, and John’s convinced he’s losing his mind. Are his crewmates even real?
