Storyline
Totsuko’s got this weird, almost burdensome “gift”—she literally sees people’s emotions as colors swirling around them. Makes navigating high school about ten times more complicated, honestly. She’s always on high alert, dodging any dark auras from her friends and family, sometimes even fibbing just to keep the peace. It’s exhausting, but she can’t help herself. Then one day, while poking around an old bookshop tucked away in Nagasaki, she stumbles into two people—one’s this strikingly beautiful woman whose colors are just…out of this world, and the other’s a music-obsessed guy dreaming about starting a band. Something about the three of them just clicks. They’re all kind of misfits, a little sensitive, carrying their own baggage, but music becomes their little safe bubble. The story follows their messy, heartfelt journey as they figure out life, friendship, and how to let their true colors show—literally and figuratively—while jamming together in this makeshift band. It’s raw, awkward, sweet, and a little magical.
