Storyline
Set nearly two centuries before the original Lord of the Rings saga, this story dives headfirst into the chaos that erupts around the House of Helm Hammerhand. Helm, this legendary king of Rohan, isn’t exactly having a banner year—Wulf, a seriously cunning and vengeful lord with some sketchy Dunlending bloodlines, comes crashing in, hellbent on payback for his dad’s death. The whole thing spirals into a brutal siege, forcing Helm and his people to hunker down in the fortress that one day gets famous as Helm’s Deep. Things go from bad to worse—resources dwindle, allies fade, and hope’s pretty much on life support. In the middle of this mess, Héra, Helm’s daughter, suddenly finds herself way out of her comfort zone, trying to rally the battered remnants of her people. She’s got to pull off the impossible: lead a desperate resistance and face a ruthless enemy dead set on wiping them out completely. Survival feels like a long shot, but hey, stranger things have happened in Middle-earth.
