Storyline
A young guy gets slapped with a drug trafficking charge, and—no surprise—his defense lawyer basically nudges him into pleading guilty. Supposedly, it’ll mean less time behind bars. Enter Fok, played by Donnie Yen, who’s not your average prosecutor. He’s actually a former cop who doesn’t play by the book and definitely doesn’t buy that the case is as simple as it looks. Something feels off, and Fok’s gut tells him there’s more going on, so he starts poking around on his own. Before he knows it, he’s tangled up in a messy web of lies, corruption, and some seriously shady characters who would rather he just minded his own business. Fok risks his reputation, his job, and even his neck chasing down the truth, refusing to let the real criminals walk free. For Fok, the law’s got its limits, but his sense of justice doesn’t. He's out to make things right, even if it means breaking a few rules himself.
