Storyline
Joel Kinnaman’s playing this Boston cop, right? Guy gets wrecked on the job—like, boom, suddenly he’s deaf. Fast-forward about a year and a half, and life’s not exactly throwing him any favors. He’s still tight with his old partner, Mark Strong, but the city’s even grittier than before. The real kicker: there’s a murder witness holed up in an old apartment building, can’t hear a thing—just like him. She’s got the goods on a squad of dirty cops, and you know they’re not about to let her walk out alive. So now Kinnaman and Strong are fighting both time and a bunch of crooked, desperate police, all while Kinnaman’s dealing with this new world of silence. The tension’s insane—no backup, just two guys up against their own brothers in blue, floor by floor, trying to protect this witness who can’t even hear them coming. There’s this constant sense someone’s about to get betrayed, and every shadow could be the last thing you see. Real edge-of-your-seat stuff.
