The 2024 Creator Lab Photo Fund aims to provide financial support to artists at crucial points in their careers and was established through a partnership between Google Creator Labs and Aperture. The Creator Labs Photo Fund was created in partnership between Google’s Creator Labs and Aperture to provide financial support to artists, with each artist receiving $6,000 and a Google Pixel 8a device.
The themes of this year’s 30 award winners include family archives, the impact of capitalism and colonialism, immigration and assimilation, self-love and identity, culture and family relationships, heritage, and the transformation of ecosystems and landscapes. This year’s photographers come from various states across the United States and represent a variety of perspectives, each bringing a unique vision to their work.
