Now, we’re not going to tell you that you can live like Gwyneth Paltrow. Living like Gwyneth Paltrow requires millions of dollars, movie star genes, a closet full of Brunello Cucinelli, and a song that lets you do a lot more than make a song called “Smells Like My Vagina” candle and sell it for its “indescribable goods.”

But thanks to CB2, you can live like Gwyneth! Today, they’re launching a limited-edition collection of furniture, lighting, and dining designed by Paltrow and her lifestyle brand Goop.

The goop x CB2 collaboration feels like a bright and airy home straight out of Montecito: It’s furnished with ivory bouclé chairs and a high-gloss white resin dining table, wool-leather seating, and Spanish alabaster wall sconces. Still, Paltrow told Askew that she looked far beyond Santa Barbara when creating her work. “Drawing inspiration from the grandeur of modern Parisian apartments and the architecture of mid-century Italian modernist furniture, we created an eclectic but also coherent collection,” she said.

The diversity Paltrow speaks of is in the details. Look closely at the shearling armchairs and you’ll see marble legs with brass caps, while the chandelier is reminiscent of dangling earrings. The second pendant emits a light pink-gold glow when lit. “This collection feels unique and special enough to stand the test of time,” Paltrow said.

These are just the big-ticket items. Colorful wine glasses come in colors like olive and vineyard purple. Meanwhile, a beautiful mug looks like it was found at a Parisian flea market.

This is Paltrow’s second collection with Goop and the furniture retailer. The first collection launched in 2018 and is one of CB2’s best-selling collaborations to date. Why? It cleverly utilizes aesthetics — terrycloth remains a popular material in interior design — and aura: The pieces look similar to those in her homes in Montecito and Los Angeles, and were featured in special topics published in Architectural Digest.
