GALWAY, Ireland, Sept 19 (Askume Breakingviews) – Italian bank UniCredit, worth $68 billion, has acquired a 9% stake in Commerzbank worth $16 billion. Speaking on the Viewroom podcast, the Breakingviews columnist argued a full merger would make financial sense but may not make sense for unions or the much-criticised Berlin government.
