Paris Fashion Week has officially begun, and with it comes a flood of glamour: well-dressed people, supermodels sweeping the streets and much more. But Gwyneth Paltrow has not deviated from her style, following the French way of dressing and forgoing the more ostentatious styles of Fashion Week.

Although it’s only the third day of fall, the Goop founder strolled the streets of Ile-de-France in fall attire. She wore a simple black turtleneck and wide-leg indigo jeans that reached her ankles. Paltrow stayed warm with a double-breasted black peacoat, black cross-body bag, and black Wayfarer sunglasses.

Like any smart tourist, Paltrow brought a pair of practical running shoes. She forwent the Sambas craze and opted for the white Nike Cortez with black details. This shoe feels particularly appropriate in the post-Olympic glow: Nike originally designed it as a track shoe and released the Cortez to the public during the 1972 Munich Games. While Gwyneth Paltrow may not be in a hurry to channel her inner track star, we’re sure she can conquer a 10,000-plus step day in Paris.
